Music
Music education offers creative expression and talent development, as well as opportunities to connect to others through performing and appreciating the art.
Make a Joyful Noise
Students participate in music through enrichment or elective classes under the direction of expert musicians. Our talented and professional music instructors recognize music as an art form for self-expression and communication, and they challenge students to sing and learn to play instruments through classroom instruction and rehearsals. Students experience a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary music.
Three-year-olds through fifth graders progress through learning percussion and orff instruments, recorders, and handbells in their music enrichment classes. Sixth and seventh grade students may enroll in band. Seventh and eighth students may also audition for the All-Region Choir and Band.
Lower school students may also join afterschool singing groups. Middle school students can join the Wildcat Worship Team, the school's volunteer contemporary praise band.
Classroom grade level teachers also integrate music into academic areas of the curriculum.

- Ear training
- Sightreading
- Vocal technique
- Instrumental technique
- Concert performance and etiquette
- Auditioning for positions, such as in All-Region Orchestra or All-Region Choir
