Building A Lasting Foundation for the Future
Holiday Greetings to our St. Clement’s Families,
We wish all of our families and staff a very special and joyful Christmas Season and a New Year full of happiness and love.
As we begin to wrap up the calendar year we understand how very busy our schedules have become. Last week our St. Clement’s School Orchestra delighted all of us present with beautiful music demonstrating their impressive talents and skills. The Musicats and our Kindergarten students performed for special audiences of our elderly community members. The Third Grade Dance Group shared a beautiful lesson through dance with us during chapel on Friday morning. Our Praise Band performed for the community at the San Jacinto Plaza Tree Lightning. The Pre-K and Kindergarten children shared their Christmas spirit through their Nativity performance this morning. These enrichment and community service programs represent a small sampling of the learning experiences that our children receive at our school. We truly are blessed that our children have these opportunities as part of their education at St. Clement’s Parish School.
This week and next we will continue to offer more opportunities for our parents and students to share of their talents and gifts. We will hold our last Book Club meeting this Wednesday, December 14, from 2-3pm in the CFE. Our Dancing with the Stars group will hold a very important organizational meeting for parents this Thursday, December 15, at 3:30pm also in the CFE. I strongly encourage all of our MS parents and students to enroll in this valuable course. Our young men and women will become proficient in proper etiquette and master the basic dancing steps.
Students in Middle School have been preparing for their Fall exams which begin on Wednesday, December 14 and continue through Tuesday, December 20th. We encourage parents to limit the extra-curricular activities and events so that our MS students can focus on preparation for their exams. We have special schedules to accommodate one exam per day. On December 16, our Musicats will perform their Christmas program for all of us during chapel at 8:15. Finally on December 20th beginning at 2:00pm we will celebrate our traditional Lessons and Carols.
We are truly blessed that with our families contribution through tuition and through their generous Annual Giving our school is able to provide a superior “world-class” education. We kindly request your continued support and collaboration in our efforts to secure the funds to insure that we can offer this educational experience for all of our children. Your gift and contribution will assist us in filling the gap between tuition revenue and actual cost of operating our excellent school.
Thank you for your help as we reaffirm our school’s mission: “Within a nurturing environment, St. Clement’s Parish School promotes each child’s academic, spiritual, moral, artistic, and intellectual growth”.
Blessings,
