Art Department The art center provides opportunities for creative self-expression of students of all grade levels through experiences with varied media such as paint, clay, fiber, and drawing materials. As students’ aptitudes and skills advance and mature, techniques progress in difficulty. The art department has it own kiln for firing clay, and it is equipped with artists' tables and stools for the students.
Music Department The music program encourages students to appreciate and enjoy music through instruction in vocal production, handbell performance, musical and dramatic interpretation, chapel participation, and outreach to our community. The department offers numerous instruments and plenty of space for a class of students to rehearse and to participate in large group activities.
Speech and Drama Department Students prepare for performances and competitions in a mini-theater setting complete with prop room and a meeting area.
Robert T. Gibson Gymnasium The gymnasium was built in 1997 and was named after our first Headmaster, The Rev. Robert T. Gibson. Physical education classes use the gym, and our volleyball and basketball teams play home games here. The School also hosts basketball and volleyball tournaments in the gym. At times it is utilized for student assemblies, special receptions, and meetings.
Youth Activities Center Built in 2002 and shared by St. Clement’s Church and School, the Youth Activity Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art climbing wall and a large recreation/conference room. It also features smaller conference rooms for group meetings.
Kendle Kidd Library The library resources at St. Clement’s School enhance and support the academic objectives of the school. Two librarians provide instruction for students enabling them to become independent users of any library. The library program also provides students with excellent recreational reading materials, and gives them opportunities to discuss books and share reading experiences. Library resources can be accessed from off-campus by visiting our online catalog at http://66.136.126.101/athcgi/athweb.pl . The search feature at this site also refers the visitor to related links of World Wide Web sites. These sites have been previewed and recommended by librarians.
